I am retired from
The Valero Refinery in Port Arthur, Texas. I was there from 1990 till 2021.
I have been in the engineering field ever since I got out of high school back in 1977.
I have been working with AutoCAD since 1986 and bought my first computer in 1988,
it was a NEC 386/16 with a 20" Mitsubishi monitor and a 11x17 neumonics digitizer, I
paid extra for a math co-processor. The Damn thing cost $8000.00 but it launched my career
to the next level.
I began helping my friends work on and acquire hardware but it soon
became obvious that I could make money on the side helping friends of friends. Cats &
Cadd was officially brought on the scene in January of 1994 and has enjoyed small but
persistent growth ever since.
